   Events: Pray On, Prey

How did you guys come to find Fancorps and was there any street team in place beforehand? I found Fancorps through an Internet search engine. Fancorps encompasses everything I was looking for in an online management program. There was an MAB ST in play, but it had its share of shortcomings and lack of fulfillment. The Fancorps' reward-based system and tracking is the quintessential tool that benefits both fans and the artist it represents. We have received great feedback and participation since it's been online.

How was the learning curve of getting the site up to speed so you could start recruiting members? Since the Fancorps system is so user-friendly, development has been a breeze and we have made the most of it I think. We have taken full advantage of everything the system has to offer, and we will continue to add to the scope of offerings as time, and Michael's career, move forward.

Have the new teamers seemed to catch on quickly as well? From the feedback we have been receiving, the site has been rated a "success" by our Street Teamers. Many fans feel the MAB Street Team has been a long time coming and have been eager to participate somewhere for a long time. There are few instances where a new member doesn't know where to begin. They really hit the street running! With the Fancorps "Bootcamp" and our ability to communicate with our members, we are able to get fans online and participating daily. Our membership has been growing steadily from day one.

I see you've really put the General Store and Exclusives sections into play, have those helped to get the team more involved? Now that they see they really can earn some cool rewards for their efforts The MAB General Store is certainly a great way to reward MAB Street Team members for their efforts. We love it and it's what it's all about! Loyalty and effort should equal reward, period. To have a Fancorps site and not offer rewards to the fans is unthinkable! I mean, if you're going to go through all the trouble and time, both on our end and the fan's end, what's the sense in not being able to cash your points in for something cool, especially after putting in your time and effort in promoting MAB? It's a great incentive-based system. The "Exclusives" section is yet another way Fancorps provides us with a medium to share with the fans. Again, this is also incentive-based, with some "Exclusives" only offered to upper-ranking members. As with the MAB General Store, we will be adding more content as we go forward.

I also see you guys are using contests to get more fans involved. Has that helped to grow the team and excite everyone? No doubt. We integrated the MAB ST "Rock & Awe" contest and giveaway with the MAB Street Team site based on our ability to manage and track our fan's progress. A few MAB Street Team members are going to walk away with some cool gear! The contest will be decided on who has the highest rank-based cumulative point total. The members who ascend the top three positions will be awarded the respective prizes. The contest will run until October 1, 2008 so there's plenty of time to sign up and get started! More information can be found on Michael's official homepage.

Have the communication tools within Fancorps (Messaging, Orders, Forums) made it easier to keep the team up to date and working on tasks you need help with? Our ability to broadcast to our base of Street Teamers has been awesome. With such a broad communication spectrum at our disposal, it has become an integral part of how we communicate with MAB's fans. Based on the feedback we've been receiving, we will continue to patronize all aspects of the system. And as we move forward, we will begin focusing on specific geographical regions as they pertain to our member's locale in order to alert members of upcoming events and promotional opportunities.

Have most of the Orders you have sent out been focused online or actually in the streets? We have solicited, and will continue to solicit, both online and street promotion. Up until this point, most of our Orders have been Internet-based. But as we progress, we expect the physical street-level promotion category to expand. We will be offering supplies to fans in the MAB General Store in the future to help aid in this promotion, so stay tuned!

What's coming up for MAB? Any new tours or albums on the way? As an acclaimed world-class guitarist, performer, and recording artist, MAB is in constant demand. He will be performing worldwide throughout 2008. Michael is currently in the studio recording for a new CD and new clinic tracks; both slated for release in 2008. He will be also filming for new DVD projects, including a live performance, that will take place in California in July, 2008.

Michael's itinerary and updates can be viewed at www.angelo.com in addition to his home at Fancorps.
