Drowning Pool Street Team Profile

   Events: Shame

Being based in Dallas ourselves we were very excited to be launching a team on Fancorps for Drowning Pool. It seemed like a perfect partnership, seeing that the band is so involved in supporting the U.S. military...it could not have been a better fit given our own military style theme. How has the team been going? Eleven Seven Music was glad that we got hooked up with Fancorps. It was only natural to build our relationship starting with Drowning Pool. The team launched in November and we have over 500 active members. Thanks to Fancorps, we have been able to sell out shows in markets where we hadn’t seen success in the past.

Was there any sort of organized street team in place beforehand? If so, what was used to keep it all running? The Drowning Pool street team was an unorganized headache before Fancorps took over. The band had an archaic system in place so we were all relieved to be using the Fancorps platform.

Has Fancorps helped to keep everything streamlined? Are the results you're seeing better now that it's all accessible in one place to both you guys as the management and the teamers themselves? Fancorps gives us the ability to contain everything within one site. The call to action is very clear and it makes life easier for the teamers and the label.

Have the teamers gotten involved as much as you had hoped? Was it tough for members to adjust to the Fancorps system? We have had no complaints. The kids find the system very user friendly and they have been involved from the start. We are lucky that Drowning Pool has a number of so called “super fans” that really want to help the band take it to the next level.

Now the team has been up and rocking for several months (currently with over 500 members) what are your plans for the future...for the team and the band that is? With a new crossover single that is coming out, we hope to expand the band’s audience and turn on a whole new set of fans that otherwise would never have listened to Drowning Pool. We want to use the Fancorps platform to reach these new fans and turn them into super fans themselves. Eleven Seven Music is unique in the sense that we stand behind our artists and wont just work a first single. Almost a year into Drowning Pool’s Full Circle album cycle, we are just about to launch a 3rd single, have surpassed our sales goals and continue to hold strong!
