Tech Cocktail, a Chicago based resource for start ups and entrepreneurs hosted its first ever event in Dallas at the Techwildcatters headquarters near downtown. The turn out from the local startup community was fantastic, as more than 200 people attended to network and check out out the showcasing companies.

Fancorps, a company specializing in brand advocacy through social media, is looking to raise around $1 million in capital as it transitions from clients in the music industry to consumer brands such as Chili’s Grill & Bar and Kodak.

The last several years have taught us a lot as entrepreneurs while growing Fancorps as a company. One thing that can't be taken for granted is perseverance. G.I. Sanders with co-founders Jaye Miller and Tony Edwards have committed to developing a solid concept and technology that we believe will scale into a highly successful business.

We're excited to be on LaunchDFW, a local start-up community that brings attention to Dallas based technology companies breaking new ground. It includes a brief v-log I put together where I explained a bit about the Fancorps concept and demoed the key features of the platform.
