Link: www.myspace.com/miissuu Well, first of all... I was not in this Street Team when I went to the No Doubt/The Sounds concert... I traveled from Sonora, Mexico to Phoenix, Arizona just to see them... I have been fan of The Sounds since I was 14-15 years old when I heard 'Living in America'... I was in Monterrey, MX when I knew about this show in AZ... I'm studyng there in Monterrey... and the date for the concert was perfect because I finished my semester just days before the concert and I went back to my hometown... then days later I traveled to Arizona... I was really excited... I dreamed with meet the band! and when their show started my heart was beating too quickly. Sincerely, The Sounds is one of the better bands on stage I've ever seen!!! At 9 o' clock I ran to the blue carpet at the signing and it was the best day I ever have... Maja and all the band, specially Felix were very very very nice with us... they're are very kind people and that says too much of them like a band... I really loved them and I hope I will have another oportunity to see them in person or on stage! Thanks to them for this Street Team and thanks to do this kind of activities just to have more contact with fans all over the world!!! :) |

Set: Painted By Numbers No One Sleeps When I'm Awake 4 Songs & A Fight Hurt You Beatbox Hope You're Happy Now I think that's the correct order. Might be off by one or two. I don't think I'm missing any songs. Yea, It was a rather quick set. Anyways, Had an absolutely amazing time. Things started off alittle rough. Something's been going on on Fancorps end, Night after night. (no pun intended.) Once the street teamers that RSVP shows get to the venue, They find out that they're not on the guest list. So I called JVal, the merch guy, Who in turned called the tour manager, Who came out and gave me my ticket for entrance. (thanks again!) It all really went by too fast for me. Passed out stacks upon stacks of tour fliers, While getting a nice little video clip of "Hurt You" on my digital camera. Universal had sent out a representative to help promote aswell, So the two of use helped take pictures/keep the line in order during the meet & greet. As far as meeting the band, All I can say is that they are the nicest, Most down to earth musicians you will ever meet. They all shook my hand, Thanked me for coming out to help, & chatted a bit about how they'd be coming back in the fall, & would be able to play more than 6 measly songs. Jesper hugged me, & joked around with me a bit about "busting my ass" for them. (I was drenched in sweat). Maja signed my CD, Drew a little heart, & proceeded to tell me how much my coming out to help promote meant to her. (As I began to melt, lmao.) Somewhere along the line I mentioned that after the meet & greet I was gonna get a beer, & before I knew it, Maja was handing me hers. Absolutely CANNOT wait until the fall tour. |

I found at most two people who knew who the Sounds were prior to the set, and the fanline at the tent spoke to the power that the music had on the Atlanta crowd. Passing out booklets before and after the set, I found most people were willing to give a listen, and I was happy to find a huge Sounds fan belting out to "Hurt You." I became the impromptu camerawoman in the autograph line for a good 45 minutes to expedite the process. I didn't have to share thanks from the band with anyone after the line went out, which may not be good for the band, but I certainly liked not having to share the love :) Finally, Jason and I passed out booklets as concertgoers exited Lakewood. Between walking essentially nonstop or dropping on my knees to talk to people between 6:00pm-1:00am (when I got home walking 20 minutes from the subway), I felt the effects of an incredible night in my legs for four days. I can't find the photos that I had already submitted of me handing out the booklets. But I helped out at the Chula Vista show on May 22. I met with Jason and helped pass out the booklets the entire night, and also met the band after their signing session. |

Eric DeOliveira i went to the show in Camden, Nj (i already submitted one of these but it told me to resubmit one so im doing it again =P ) it was a really fun show and meeting the band afterwards was really cool. they were all really nice. passing out flyers to people in the crowd with my friends was fun... we passed out more then 1000. it started raining right after no doubts last song (before the encore) but that was OK. i'd do it again, do it again if i could =P |

I won tickets to the Fresno, Ca show Savemart Center. I also purchased 4 additional tickets for general admission. The staff wouldn't let us in so after many hours I got another ticket to get in. I found Jason at the tent and we helped pass flyers. Jason let us meet the band afterwards. Paul made sure we saw The Sounds in Bakersfield the next day, Thank You. |

My name is Daryl "Gene" Price. These are pictures that were taken during the ND/Sounds tour earlier this summer. These are from the 6/14 show at the Nissan Pavillion in Bristow, VA. Me and a fellow sounds street team member(Capturing_Moods) decided that we'd take each other pictures while we handed out flyers. Unfortunately, her computer crashed and all the photos she had of me were lost. Later that day, we DID switch cameras, which is how I have some pictures of myself from the day. I have since already given her the pics that I took of her. Thank you very much. |

Link: www.youtube.com/etownsey I volunteered to pass out flyers at the show in Tampa at the Ford Amphitheater in June 09. I met up with JVal during the Sounds because of how long it took to get into the venue. I'm not sure anyone passed out flyers aside from JVal and I, but we passed out the entire box he had. I had already purchased tickets, so my friends helped out a bit too. We got a lot passed out in the pit, and Hayley Actually got passed one of the Sounds poster flyers we were passing out, and gave the sounds a shoutout telling the crowd they wouldbe signing autographs! After I unloaded a ton of flyers on the floor i went back out on the midway and hit tons of people in line for beer and food and by the merch. Also caught a ton of people coming in from the gates. There was an accident on i4 that day tha tblocked the exit, so most people missed some of paramore... many of them got posters and started waiting in line at the sounds tents... Once no doubt started TONS of people went back up to the lawn, so i kept the line company while they were waiting to meet the band. That is when i got to meet everyone! it was amazing. After that Jval gave me the rest of the flyers and i caught everyone leaving the venue after no doubt was over. Overall i think we did really good. They also shot a video interview, but i'm not sure what that was for. It was a great experience and i'd do it again in a heartbeat. |
